Weekly Reflections

 Reasons to be cheerful ...

  • chatting with family and friends
  • completing the tolerance testing for bread with no issues at all, so it's no longer eliminated and can make a regular appearance in my meal plans
  • celebrating my birthday
  • getting my booster jab
  • making arrangements to see friends and family face to face
  • loving that I am back to reading novels again
  • planning a couple of solo adventures = two more things to look forward to
  • feeling more energised

I am grateful ...
  • for the opportunities I have
  • for the variety of food available to us
  • for central heating and hot water on demand

Lifestyle changes
  • exercise:
    • 45 minutes daily walk. Achieved at least 30 minutes each day
    • 30 minute workouts twice a week. Achieved
    • 20 minutes daily knee strengthening. Achieved
  • weight: no change

  1. Loving your reasons to be cheerful - did I say Happy Birthday to you, I can't remember. If not - Happy Birthday!

  2. As always you have good reasons to be cheerful. It's a relief to have had the extra vaccine as protection from the virus. I'm glad you had a lovely birthday and are making plans for more adventures.

    1. Thanks Eileen. The news of the new variant is worrying but there isn't enough information available to make an informed decision about whether I need to change my plans for more adventures.

  3. Another good week of wonderful reasons to be cheerful and grateful! So glad you received your booster and hope you have minimal side effects. Drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated! Glad to hear that you can have bread again! Enjoy the week ahead and may there be many more reasons for good cheer and gratitude in the coming week, too. :)

    1. Thanks Bless. I'm a happy bunny that bread doesn't cause me any problems. Now I know that it's okay, I will look at setting myself up to make my own bread in the new year.
