279/365: the pink gaura has started flowering again

Moorfields Eye Hospital has decided they want to see me. The appointment has come through for the end of October, coincidently the day after I'd planned to return home from my birthday treat, so I've asked if the appointment can be brought forward by one day and am waiting to hear from them. If not I will just extend my stay in London by another day. I thought that was all the medical appointments over and done with for a while but in the same post I received the notification that my next mammogram was due so I have to phone today and make that appointment.

L will be here later. She's been poorly and although we have chatted on the phone we haven't met up for a few weeks so we will have a lot to catch up on.

Oh, and I solved my storage problems with the oodies. It was obvious as soon as I walked into the bedroom ... one of the underbed storage drawers is empty and they will fit in there easily, so problem solved!

  1. The pink guara are beutiful!

Glad to hear that your eye appointment has been made and I hope you can have the appointment date changed. Hope the mammogram appointment can be made without any difficulty.

Glad you figured out a space to store the oodies, too. :)

Have a lovely day with L visiting you. :)

    1. I'm still waiting to hear about the possible change to the appointment so hopefully that will get sorted tomorrow. The mammogram should be a routine appointment but I want to wait to get the eye hospital appointment sorted first.

It's been a good day. L arrived at 1:30pm and has just left at 8:30 pm!

  2. I hope your appointment date at the eye hospital can be changed for you but an extra day in London sounds good if you can afford to do that. Hopefully your mammogram appointment won't clash with any other plans you've made, it's such an important scan.

    1. If it can't be changed I have plenty of things I can do in London so I'm not too worried either way. I have to phone to make the mammogram appointment so it should be fine I will definitely get it done because of my twin sister's medical history .... it's not worth the risk to miss the chance of a check up.

  4. That's good that off season storage of oodies is easily & readily solved. Getting an earlier appointment with the eye hospital is a good thing especially since you will already be there, no added trips, but if not, well maybe there's an extra fun thing you can fit in with the extra time in London.

    1. I'm glad I don't need to spend extra money for suitable storage. It'll be extra fun in London. When I know whether the appointment can be changed I will start making plans.
