Monthly Photo Challenge: Beginning with J
The theme for July was 'beginning with J'. Here's my selection ...
empty jars |
Jaffa cakes |
a half eaten jaffa cake! |
books written by authors whose names begin with J |
a jug |
Jumbo the elephant |
Star Wars, Return of the Jedi with Jabba the Hutt |
juggling balls |
jigsaw pieces |
Go To Jail square on a Monopoly board |
In Jail and Just Visiting on a Monopoly board |
John Lennon CD |
Brother James' Air sheet music |
Jokers and Jacks |
The challenge is to take photos on the set theme; the photos must be taken during the month (no archive photos), a minimum of five photos but there's no upper limit, and there will be a new theme every month. The theme for August is 'noughts and crosses', and I'll post a linky at the end of the month Have fun!
Thanks to everyone who has taken part in the July challenge. Here's the linky ... please link to your challenge post, not just to your blog.
What a great selection of photos, love your garden tools jigsaw peices and your jug and I'm a John Lennon fan too. I bet you ate the other half of that Jaffa cake :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Eileen. That's one of the Wentworth jigsaws with the specially shaped pieces. It was a gift from J and the chicken jug was a gift from the other J ... it's my favourite jug.
DeleteI love John Lennon's music, particularly this album.
Yes I did! 🤭🤭
Oh, I love your selection of photos! I wrote out a list of things that start with J, but, haven't photographed everything! Need to hurry and finish it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bless. I'll be round to see yours soon and many thanks for joining in.
DeleteLove the photos. The depth of field really appeals to me. They are so lovely and clean and crisp. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon. I'm pleased with how they all turned out as they were taken with my phone.
DeleteFabulous selection, once again, and thanks for the prompt
ReplyDeleteThanks Joy. Will visit your blog later, thanks for joining in again this month.
DeleteI love that jug too - what character! It looks as if it has been hand painted. Now why didn't I think of jigsaw pieces? I looked at my jigsaws and decided it was too much work to complete one of them just for the photo. Luckily I do a daily jigsaw online so was able to use that.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing with all those empty jars?!
Great selection of snapshots -- love the ingenuity of the book group.
