99/365: H is for ... the Horse

So far this year my decluttering efforts have been focused on the things I want to get rid of.  All very necessary as there is so much that needs to go, but this month I'm having a bit of a change and will be looking at the special items I want to keep.

Ced assembled this from instructions printed in an old Meccano magazine.  It was on his desk in the factory when I first met him - he was the Chief Engineer and I worked in the office. I saw this through his office window and is the reason I went in - to have a better look.  That was the start of our relationship, friends to begin leading to a deeper relationship after a couple of years.  You could say it brought us together!

  3. This is so sweet, what a wonderful story of how you met. Very unique horse too! I'm sure you won't ever part with it.

  4. That is cool. I'm drawn to horse figurines and this one is very steam punk.

  5. My dad loved making things when we were young out of meccano and they all would move - I am sure he would have loved this design if he had seen it :) Another lovely piece with an attached story of such significance. Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
